Leonard is a true Blues guitarist that has mastered the legendary Chicago Blues sound. Leonard has played his blues at festivals and clubs all over the US, Canada, and Europe. He is a worldwide and critically acclaimed recording artist and has been playing the blues with great passion, like the masters that influence him, right here in Southern Oregon and beyond since the late ’80’s. Leonard, formerly of In the Pocket, Side Pocket, and the Bluesdusters, and has toured with Blues singer, Karen Lovely, playing lead guitar since 2010. In 2015, Leonard launched his latest project, Leonard Griffie Blues. The new project is multi-faceted as Leonard performs Solo, with accompaniment as a duo, and with a 3-4 piece band.
His fresh blues are enjoyable from start to finish and best appreciated live and in person.
